Exam preparation
The preparatory courses at Study Up prepare pupils for the relevant examinations (Abitur, Mittlere Reife, Quali).
Preparatory courses
Study Up's preparatory courses prepare pupils who are about to graduate from school in the current school year for the relevant examinations in group and/or individual lessons. These courses differ significantly from traditional tutoring.
We generally offer three types of preparatory courses.
Option 1:
Starting in February of each school year, all booked exam subjects are covered once or several times a week (including during the Easter and Whitsun holidays) until the exams in May/June/July. This form of preparation creates a solid foundation and is probably the most effective option.
Option 2:
During the Easter holidays (Abitur, Fachabitur) and Whitsun holidays (Mittlere Reife, Quali), the preparatory courses take place daily. Over 10 days, the exam topics are covered successively in 90-minute sessions. Due to time constraints, these courses are very tightly structured, which means that students must take responsibility for consolidating the learning content at home. Participants are given numerous practice exercises to complete. The preparatory course concludes with a simulated final examination, which is assessed based on the official grading scale.
Option 3:
This alternative is particularly suitable for students who attend evening school and work part-time. The preparatory courses take place on the weekends of the second school year or on the last 10 weekends before the exam. Here, too, the course ends with a simulated final exam.
re-examination
If a pupil has failed to pass their exams, some federal states offer them the opportunity to avoid repeating the year by passing a resit exam and being placed on probation. In this case, our resit exam courses offer the ideal solution. These courses are specifically designed to prepare pupils for their resit exams so that they can still pass and move up to the next year.
